Advanced Module
In the advanced module, you will select two courses from an interdisciplinary course portfolio offered by the UA Ruhr Universities. The goal is to gain in-depth knowledge of diversity, gender, and intersectionality, as well as to develop the ability to analytically assess social power relations. This allows students to focus on their individual interests, become familiar with different methodological approaches, and further develop their own academic profile.
In the advanced module, you will select two courses (module components) from two different subject areas (A, B, and C). You must earn at least 5 CP in this module.
A) Theories, Policies, and Structures of Inequality
B) Representation / Production of Difference
C) Spaces of Experience / Positioning / Resistant Knowledge
