As part of this year’s committee elections, the advisors to the central equal opportunity officer and the department-level equal opportunity officers were also elected. They will take office on July 1.

Advisors to the Central Equal Opportunity Officer

The advisors to the Central Equal Opportunity Officer were elected for the areas of research, student affairs, and technology and administration. The female members of TU Dortmund University elected Nadine Finke-Micheel as the new advisor for technology and administration and Mathuraa Vivekananthan as the new advisor for student affairs. Prof. Dr. Mona Motakef remains in office as an advisor for the field of science.

Decentralized equal opportunity officers and their deputies

A total of 43 women were elected to serve as Decentralized equal opportunity officers and their deputies. This demonstrates the strong commitment to gender equality within the departments.

We congratulate all the newly elected and re-elected women and look forward to working with them!
