Scholarship and funding programs
TU Dortmund University, private sponsoring organizations, the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and the federal government offer a number of funding and scholarship programs to make it easier for committed and successful students, doctoral candidates and postdocs to pursue their studies and academic careers.
An application is worthwhile!
Are you afraid to apply for a scholarship because your grade point average is not outstanding? Don't be put off by buzzwords such as "promoting the gifted" or "the best"! Many sponsors include family situations, voluntary or social commitment and non-university project work in their selection criteria. Find out on the information pages of the sponsoring organizations whether your personal achievements in your studies and extracurricular activities match the criteria for awarding scholarships and take the plunge and apply.
