»Sowohl als Auch«

Since the 2016 summer semester, the Equal Opportunities Office has been organizing the event series »Sowohl als Auch« (»as well as«) and invites students and employees of TU Dortmund University to attend.

»Sowohl als Auch« aims to bring together women's and gender studies at TU Dortmund University with non-institutionalized feminist and gender equality movements and to discuss current issues. The format is based on current social debates and brings them together with academic questions. An overarching theme, which is examined from different perspectives, is the connecting element. Theory and practice, culture and science are brought together to create synergy effects. Lively discussions and the meeting of people from different contexts are expressly desired. For the participants, new impulses for their own work can arise or collaborations can develop.
