Die Teilnehmerinnen des Mentoring-Programms „MinTU“ konnten beim Sommerfest der TU Dortmund die Universität von einer ganz anderen Seite kennenlernen. Auf einer Rallye ging es einmal quer über den Campus.

MinTU mentor Antonia reports on a successful campus rally:

"After the first workshops and the first group meetings, the mentees were invited to TU Dortmund University's summer party on June 27. In bright sunshine, they were welcomed by their mentors and divided into two groups. Equipped with a map and a series of questions, they set off to explore the university and the campus.

From a selfie with Ada Lovelace in Computer Science to the Penrose paving in the foyer of the Audimax and the AStA stand at Emil-Figge-Straße 50, the mentees made their way across the entire campus. In addition to questions about the campus, a few puzzles also provided challenges. The students had the opportunity to discover many new corners on their own and experience campus life at its peak. Although many exciting booths and lots of visitors certainly didn't make it easy to find their way around, in the end both groups found their way back to the Equal Opportunities Office booth. After a small award ceremony, they received their well-deserved prizes and had some time to look around in peace after the exciting rally or to eat at one of the many food booths."

The summer festival rally was a special highlight of the MinTU-year and a great opportunity for the students to get to know TU Dortmund University even better (and, above all, in a completely different way) than during the workshops.
