MinTU group proves its skills at black light minigolf
- MinTU
As part of the "MinTU" program, our group meets regularly to share exciting experiences and try out new things together. This time, our journey took us to black light mini golf.
As soon as we arrived at the entrance hall, it quickly became clear that no ordinary mini golf awaited us. We were immersed in a world full of colors, effects and challenges. On a total of 18 holes, we played our way through three thematically completely different worlds, each with its own surprises.
Our journey began in the world of "Pandora". Floating mountains, glowing plants and an almost magical environment awaited us there. As we tried to get the ball over the obstacles to the finish line, we kept discovering new little details.
From there, the path led us on to "Asia". Here we were surrounded by temples, lanterns and streets full of life and colorful diversity. This atmosphere made these paths a special but challenging experience. The many bright surprises made us laugh many times when the ball once again took a completely different direction.

Finally, we entered the "Kosmos". Suddenly we found ourselves in the middle of space, surrounded by astronauts, stars, galaxies and planets. Here, too, we tried to put our skills to the test once again and mastered the final courses. The mixture of darkness and glittering neon colors made this world a great finale.
In the end, we all agreed that the black light mini golf was a great shared experience. Not only did we test our skills, but above all we laughed a lot, marveled at our surroundings and got to know each other even better. We are already looking forward to our next meeting!

The mentoring program MinTU - Mädchen in die TU Dortmund (Girls into TU Dortmund University) offers around 50 schoolgirls between the ages of 12 and 14 the opportunity to get to know STEM faculties at TU Dortmund University as part of a mentoring program. The girls are supervised for a year by a mentor who is herself a student on a STEM course at TU Dortmund University and provides an insight into her subject and everyday life as a student in a personal exchange.
