Are you interested in local politics and looking for ways to get involved? Or do you think your issues and perspectives are underrepresented or not represented at all in politics? Then apply now for the local political empowerment program for female students and take part in a variety of events in Berlin and the Ruhr region in the coming winter semester. The program is free of charge for all participants.

Germany still lacks women in politics in 2021. Their share in parliaments is even declining in some cases, especially at the municipal level. The "Get involved - get involved in local politics" program aims to introduce female students interested in politics to local political structures, show them the scope for action and motivate and encourage them to get involved in politics.

Over two seminar weekends in Berlin, participants are offered a varied program of workshops, lectures, training, exchange and networking. A digital accompanying seminar and various events in Dortmund, Bochum and Essen round off the program.

Applications are open to female students aged between 18 and 27 from all TU Dortmund University departments, with or without previous political experience. Participation in the program is free of charge; all travel and accommodation costs are covered.

Further information can be found on the program flyer and the application form.

Are you interested? Then fill out the application form and send it to by 25.06.2021.
