f.2.e starts the semester with a breakthrough
- female.2.enterprises
Recognizing your own mental blocks was the easiest step. Most of the participants knew directly which beliefs were holding them back time and again. "Everything starts with a thought," explained business psychologist Gabi Brede and showed the participants how thought and action routines are mutually dependent and reinforce each other. To break out of this cycle, old beliefs need to be replaced by new currencies. For example, the well-known "self-praise stinks" became the motto "self-praise is right!"
The participants then learned techniques that they can use to internalize their new positive beliefs in such a way that they become thought routines and bring about self-effective action. They practised self-praise, gave each other feedback and (re)recognized their own strengths and values that had overshadowed the old blockages.
All other workshops within the framework of female.2.enterprises will also take place online this semester. Female students and academics from all departments can register for the individual offers on our website.
