Laura N. Junghanns und Penelope Kemekenidou mit Judith Butler, der Butch des Monats November und Beyoncé.
After a brilliant opening event, the "Butler, Butch, Beyoncé" discourse series continued. On November 21, 2019, everything revolved around the topic of feminist activism. Together with Theater Dortmund and the Equal Opportunities Office of the City of Dortmund, we invited you to get to know activist and artivist Penelope Kemekenidou.

Kemekenidou is an activist for women's rights and co-founder of Gender Equality Media, an organization against sexist reporting in Germany. With campaigns such as #StopBildSexism or #unfollowpatriarchy, the group takes concrete action against patriarchal structures in the media landscape. Kemekenidou is currently also involved in setting up the #panyrosas/Brot und Rosen Deutschland group, one of the largest international women's organizations* in the world. She is also a co-organizer of the Munich Women's Strike 2020, which will join the international movement on 8 March 2020 and put feminist issues and concerns on the general agenda.
