Ein Mädchen steht an einer Tafel
"MinTU - Girls into TU Dortmund University" is not only the name, but also the goal! Too few young women decide to study or train in the fields of mathematics, computer science, natural sciences or technology. For this reason, TU Dortmund University launched the "MinTU - Mädchen in die TU Dortmund" project. It is a mentoring program aimed at schoolgirls between the ages of 12 and 14 and consists of a mixture of subject-specific workshops and discussions.

Ten years of "MinTU - Girls at TU Dortmund University"

In the anniversary year 2022, MinTU will be offered in a new form: Open events with different focal points are designed to get girls interested in STEM subjects. The schoolgirls will receive information about STEM degree programs and professions, the TU Dortmund University campus and life as a student. The events are planned as hybrid or digital events. Participation is free of charge for schoolgirls.
