In May, the web blog "Interdisciplinary Gender Studies" was launched by the Network for Women's and Gender Studies NRW. Every week, articles on various gender research topics are published on the blog. Members of the network and interested gender researchers have the opportunity to present their research results in this forum. Current issues and debates can also be discussed and commented on from a scientific perspective. The blog offers various points of contact and invites you to share your own research perspectives, topics and comments with an extended specialist community in an uncomplicated way.

About the network

The NRW Women's and Gender Studies Network brings together 149 professors and 226 academics at 30 universities in the state. The state-wide network is organized by a coordination and research office. It has been a central operating unit of the University of Duisburg-Essen since August 2017.

The network is supported by the NRW Ministry of Science, the University of Duisburg-Essen and the universities in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
